Another thing to do when applying for jobs is to learn more about the company. Many managers will ask what you know about their company during interviews, including the phone interview. You can impress them by proving you have done your research. Learn about what they do, their history, how many drivers they have, and what locations they tend to drive to. All of this will help if this question undoubtedly comes up.

Practice Answering Questions Beforehand

Make a list of commonly-asked interview questions and practice answering them. Questions like "Why do you want to work for our company?" and "What are your strengths and weaknesses?" are always common. Also think of questions they might ask that pertain to trucking specifically, such as when and where you got your CDL, how long you have been driving commercial trucks for, and why you left your last trucking job.
